The Story
2001
A Gemini mixer, five vinyls, and the beginning of a sound that refused to stay in one genre.
2001–2004
House parties, the Grove, the Beach, and Miami nights. The reputation grows before the mythology has a name.
2004
Knockout DJs is born. What started small grows into a 28-DJ operation reaching beyond Miami.
2013
The lights go down. Insomniak disappears from the public stage, but the archive and the instinct never stop evolving.
2024
The signal returns. Sleepless Recordings marks a new chapter and the sound finds its way back into Miami rooms.
Today
Dormant. Not dead. More than 400 mixes, 5,000+ hours mixed, and over 20 years behind the decks remain part of the legend. No genre safe.
“
The face was never the story. The mask, the sound, and the nights are what remain.
